Nurtured by Nature
The charm of Uzbek honey
Established beekeeping industry
In Uzbekistan, honey has traditionally been used in home cooking, and there has always been a steady supply and demand. Even under the former Soviet regime, beekeepers were allowed to produce and sell their own honey, and the beekeeping industry continued to develop, organized by region.
Stable domestic production and exports
In recent years, Uzbekistan has produced about 11,000 tons of honey annually. A portion of this is exported to the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, European countries, and other parts of the world.
Rich natural environment
The natural environment varies from region to region, such as plains, deserts, and mountains, so a wide variety of flowers bloom and a wide variety of honeys are produced.
Clean air and earth
The blue of the Uzbekistan flag symbolizes the color of the blue sky and the green the color of the earth. The areas where honey is produced are far away from industrial and urban areas, and are not affected by air and soil pollution. As a result, the nectar plants are in good condition and suitable for beekeeping.
Rare and valuable honey
It is said that only 0.08% of the raw honey in the Japanese honey market is completely unheated, i.e., naturally aged. Most of it is processed in some way by human hands. Uzbek honey is completely unheated, additive-free, and contains more than 180 natural ingredients. The rarity of Uzbek honey is also due to the presence of some of the world's rarest nectar plants and the fact that the amount of some types of honey collected is very small.
